Vintage Pyrex Kitchenware Everywhere

Vintage Pyrex kitchenware is everywhere in our kitchen. This vintage bakeware seems to never wear out and we definitely are not gentle when we are cooking or baking. I like my Pyrex glassware as it is so easy to clean up. I have pieces of Pyrex that are almost as old as the company itself.

Vintage Pyrex bakeware, ovenware and bowls are some of the must haves when it comes to owning vintage kitchenware that actually can be used. I own several Pyrex kitchenware that were purchased new and mostly received as gifts.

Fire King Jadite Our Favorite Kitchen Collectible

Our Fire King Jadite or Jadeite, I am not sure of the spelling, is one of our favorite vintage kitchen collectibles. We definitely use the jadeite that we have acquired. We have a wide range of Jadeite from mixing bowls to dinnerware to restaurant ware.

Anchor Hocking Fire King Jadeite is also spelled Jadite, as in vintage Fire King Jadite for sale. Jadeite is the term given to opaque green glass oven-to-table kitchenware produced by Anchor Hocking under their "Fire-King" brand and also by Jeanette, Fenton and others. Anchor Hocking Glass Co. introduced Fire-King in 1942 and produced it until 1976. Jadeite has become hugely popular in vintage kitchenware in the past decade. Our Kitchen

Yup our kitchen! The hub of our family life. This is where we laugh, cry and share our life. My family spend more time in the kitchen than we do in any other part of our home. We have a very large older home and have more space than we need most of the time. Even at holidays or family gatherings it seems everyone is hovered around in the kitchen. It is the breath of our lifestyle.

As a family we sport the same hobby of cooking and eating. As a result we have spent quite a lot of time and investments in a variety of kitchenware, bake ware and gadgets. We also like to buy vintage kitchen collectibles as the vintage look fits so well into our 150 plus year old home. Plus so many of the older cookware is so much better than some of the latest and greatest stuff. We also like to indulge in buying up old glassware such as Jadite, Bakelite, antique Pyrex and others.

We do not just put things around our kitchen to look at, everything is used. Like I said we cook and eat. So I will also be sharing some of the recipes that we enjoy and what kitchenware we used to accomplish the task. I am not a complex cook so many of the recipes I will be sharing are quite old and some I will be trying out new and giving my review on them.

This blog is going up at the most perfect time. Just before the holiday season. The time when we bake and cook the most. During the warmer weather we are spending most of our time around the grill and eating out on the deck. Those recipes are much simpler and basic. We grill a lot of vegetables chicken and fish during the summer season. But we will get into that when the time comes.
