Our Vintage Kitchenware

Our vintage kitchenware is something I enjoy collecting. Vintage kitchen collectibles is part hobby and part design choice. Most of my vintage kitchenware are pieces that have been in our family for a very long time. Add to the fact that most of my antique kitchenware is still usable today.

Vintage Kitchen Collectibles articles the beginning of the modern kitchen and the hub of today's kitchen. This article chronicles the beginning of the "Hoosier" or "Dutch" cabinets as the beginning of our modern day cupboards. It also discusses the beginning of, Pyrex from Corning Glass Works, Bakelite - The Material of A Thousand Uses, Anchor Hocking Fire King Jadeite. This is a work in progress and will be added onto long after the challenge is done.

Fire King Jadite Our Favorite Kitchen Collectible
Our Fire King Jadite or Jadeite, I am not sure of the spelling, is one of our favorite vintage kitchen collectibles. We definitely use the jadeite that we have acquired. We have a wide range of Jadeite from mixing bowls to dinnerware to restaurant ware.

Vintage Pryex Kitchenware
Vintage Pyrex kitchenware is everywhere in our kitchen. This vintage bakeware seems to never wear out and we definitely are not gentle when we are cooking or baking. I like my Pyrex glassware as it is so easy to clean up. I have pieces of Pyrex that are almost as old as the company itself.
